Found this watch after scouting around for nearly a week .... was never finding any good watch which could come close to this in the price range as well as in looks and quality ( was particular of a metal strap)....had actually given up on the idea of buying one ...then while surfing the net came across the Ethos website....and a sales executive gave me a few options through their online chat and offered a discount too....she recommended a store close to my place and the store manager with courtesy and patience showed us quiet a range.....this definitely is a winner for me...all worth it...

This is a fantastic watch specially for first time Swiss watch buyers. This model with a leather strap was my first Swiss watch which I acquired 10 years back. It is well built Swiss quality and has never gone out of fashion. This has a very good and reliable movement which has an amazing time keeping accuracy. I have used this watch all most all time and has been exposed to all kinds of scenarios including beach, water park, during a game of tennis, holiday. This watch is sturdy and well built. all that I have done to this watch in 10 years is just replaced the battery just once. Swiss watches are always the best. Definitely recommend this watch.

Whenever we want to buy watches, we see who is the manufacturer, the brand and the seller.
When the brand name comes, Tissot and Rado are the premium brands and the name itself will impress anybody.
When the retail seller comes, the price, offers and after sale service does matter. Ethoswatches.com is a chain of retailer having branches across the country and is also giving a fabulous offer. I myself experienced that when I want a quote on Tissot watch and Rado watch, they gave me a good discount on the MRP, and they gave me insurance coverage, points which can be redeemed in the next purchase and also membership in their club. By these value additions no doubt I am getting about 20% better price than any other market leader in retail sale, in Chennai or else where.

Tissot is not just a brand name but that classy time piece that gives you a complete look ...This watch in particular caught my eye because of its sheer elegance...this is truly a class part...Time means TISSOT and TISSOT means my man...:)

I finally decided to go for my first Swiss watch and Tissot was the brand that came first. Tissot isn't really a Luxury brand but they make great quality affordable watches with a great sense of style. I visited the Ethos Swiss watch boutique in Shivajinagar and have to say that they have one of the most patient and polite staff who are always ready to help on choosing a watch that suits your personality.
The Tissot V8 chronograph is a beautiful chunky watch with a dial that looks like the dashboard of a car with a very flashy metallic finish.
This quartz watch feels a bit big on the wrist (doesnt look good on skinny wrists) but is surprisingly light despite weighing 156 grams (approx)
The big round dial makes reading time very easy and will have people peeking at your wrists everytime:-)
The only downside with the watch I fest was the chinsy steel triple-fold pressure clasp. For the money Tissot charges for this watch, I feel Tissot could have added a Butterfly clasp which would have been more comfortable and more pleasing to the eye. But this is a minor issue and I hope Tissot changes in future.
