About the Tissot T-Classic Collection
Launched in the 1990s, the Tissot T-Classic collection was introduced to celebrate the essence of traditional Swiss watchmaking, offering timeless designs with contemporary reliability. The collection is a hallmark of Tissot’s commitment to creating elegant and versatile timepieces, ideal for both formal and everyday settings. Rooted in the brand’s long heritage, the T-Classic line captures the simplicity and precision that define a true classic watch, making it a go-to choice for those who appreciate refined style without unnecessary embellishments.
Design And Features
The T-Classic collection features clean lines and minimalist designs, with case sizes ranging from 28mm to 42mm, offering options that cater to different wrist sizes and preferences. The majority of the cases are round, with slim profiles that allow these watches to sit elegantly under cuffs, making these Tissot watches for men and women perfect for formal or business attire. Dials are typically simple, with Roman numerals or baton hour markers, often accompanied by a date window, and some models also feature subtle complications such as small-seconds sub-dials. The collection comes with both automatic and quartz movement options, ensuring precise timekeeping, while the Tissot watches are often paired with sleek leather straps or refined stainless steel bracelets.
Notable Models And Current Iterations
Notable models in the T-Classic collection include the Le Locle, PRX, and Gentleman. The Le Locle, named after Tissot’s hometown, stands out with its elegant guilloché dial, 39mm case, and automatic movement, making it a quintessential dress watch. The PRX, with its ultra-thin 40mm case, integrated bracelet and minimalist dial, offers a clean, contemporary look suited to both professional and casual settings. The Gentleman, available in both automatic and quartz versions, features a versatile 40mm case with a balanced, modern design that’s perfect for daily wear. Each watch in the T-Classic collection embodies the brand’s commitment to creating timepieces that merge Swiss tradition with timeless design.

Good collection of watches. But the one I love the best is Tissot T-Trend Automatic Chronograph Watch which I bought from Ethos website. It's the most priced possession of mine.

I bought this watch last week at ETHOS,Infantry road - Bangalore. Hats off to Tissot for the design of this model... i really enjoyed shopping this watch at ETHOS & the model design was eye catching. Appreciate the sales executives at Ethos for their friendly suggestions & giving the details about this model which made me to buy this watch along with self satisfaction. When i got to know that this model can be used till next generation by just buffing the steel case/strap as still the new watch & its automatic with no battery etc., i felt its worth.
I recommend others to buy this watch... my best like for this watch is its design & built. Cheers!!!!!

It was my 34th birthday couple of weeks back and I was looking for ways to take my worries off the fact that I am headed for midlife. I have always been a watch enthusiast but this is the first time I could indulge into something nice thanks to some success at work recently. Tissot has been an aspirational brand for me and I have been window shopping their watches for long. This time I made a leap and actually entered the shop to make it happen. Oh but wait! There is a story to how I got to the shop also. This is where Ethos Watches comes into picture. Once I had made up my mind about how much I wish to splurge, it was time for my customary internet research. That's when I came across ethoswatches.com and boy was I surprised. This is the best watch site I have ever been to. I fact let me go out on a limb and say that this is the best "online shopping" site, available for business in India, that I have been to. The website is so clear yet comprehensive and has all the tools for you to find just the right watch. Thanks to the nice, accurate description and a clear, large picture of each and every watch, I could make a precise decision about my purchase. So much so that I even know what is the next watch I am buying next year. Anyways, my choice for this time was this beautiful watch from Tissot that you see above. I wanted a watch with and entry-level automatic movement with looks that were bold yet sophisticated and a brand that kind of represented my persona. This watch kind of hit the sweet spot. After having done full research on this watch I visited the store couple of times with my wife to try it on and brought it. This watch announces its presence on the wrist like a fine mix of art and function. The extra broad strap in a blend of brushed and chrome stainless steel gives this watch an extra visibility without being too loud. Its monochrome colour scheme of shimmering chrome on a black dial, counterbalances its bold form to make it just the right "visual-size". The watch has some weight to it and you'd feel a robust sensation wearing this one. I brought this one at Ethos, Ambience Mall outlet and the buying experience was an excellent one too. The staff was quite courteous and let me try and feel the watch patiently a couple of times before I actually brought it on my third visit. All-in-all, I believe I brought the right watch from the right seller. If you are somebody who is a newly-successful, looking to splurge your hard earned money to buy yourself something nice and kick-start your luxury watch collection journey, than this is the watch for you.
