About the Raymond Weil Nabucco Collection
Essence
Raymond Weil launched the Nabucco series in 2007. Named after the opera by Giuseppe Verdi, the watch range is exclusively a mechanical collection. Nabucco, which is short for Nabucodonosor, narrates the tale of King Nabucco’s expatriate of the Jews from their own homeland. The collection lauded for its lustrous design and unmatchable proportions, shares the same masculinity and powerful characteristics as the king Nabucco. The collection of watches is imposing in nature, commanding power, something that Raymond Weil thought would appeal to the new-generation of assertive and confident gentlemen.
Design
Raymond Weil is one of the few luxury watchmakers who are admirably loyal to the fine traditional art of watch making. The thick and large cases give the watches imposing proportions. Nabucco has been constructed using technically innovative and elegant materials like rose gold, titanium, carbon fiber, stainless steel and rubber. The high-end look that the watches possess is due to the recessed sides, complex assimilation of the components and intricate detailing. The Nabucco watches have a large diameter with a thick body that gives the collection its masculine look. The watches have substantial tachymeter bezel that comes in handy whenever you need to measure speed. The case back is mostly screwed down with sapphire crystal that gives it a very distinct look. The dial looks classy in black with Arabic numerals and indexes in most of the watches in this collection. The crown is screwed down with RW logo. The case window is made of sapphire-crystal with anti-glare treatment on both the sides.
Features
The collection runs on a mechanical chronograph with automatic winding movement that complements the stature of Raymond Weil. Subsidiary dials feature chronograph counters to accurately measure elapsed time. Featuring high-water resistance, this watch complements your active lifestyle.
