History
Rado unveiled its first ever ceramic watches as a tribute to the Schlup and Co. Clockwork factory, the first ever Rado factory set up in 1917 in the small Swiss town of Lengnau. The Ceramica collection focuses solely on designing watches with high-tech sleek and pure ceramic designs. In 1995, Rado won the innovation prize for its ceramic Concept watch in the Switzerland Technology Centre.    
 

Design
The Rado Ceramica R21347192-152.0347.3.019 for men flaunts an exquisite masculine design with its high end ceramic material detailing. Handcrafted with a black ceramic skeleton bracelet carefully designed for the wearer’s comfort, the watchmaker has crafted its design with an oozing creativity and passion in order to completely re-invent the look. The black ceramic bezel houses a black dial engraved with white indexes and appliquéd Arabic numerals with a Super LumiNova central fill.  White Super LumiNova hands with a plume second’s arm adorn the face of the dial with enhanced readability. The black ceramic crown marked with the company logo calibrates the dial operations of the hour and minute hands, along with the date window adjustments. Sapphire crystal glass used for the case window of this watch provides great resistance against scratches.

Featuring a battery operated quartz movement, the Rado Ceramica R21347192-152.0347.3.019 for men is well known for its precision and accuracy. This time piece is well protected against damage caused due to water up to a depth of 30 metres thanks to its water resistance quality.
