About the Perrelet Classics Collection
Launched in 2015, Perrelet's Classics collection exemplifies the brand's commitment to blending traditional Swiss craftsmanship with contemporary design. Each timepiece in this collection is a celebration of elegance, featuring meticulously crafted dials adorned with intricate guilloché patterns — a technique that not only adds visual depth but also showcases the artisanal skill behind each watch. The use of high-quality materials, such as stainless steel and rose gold, further enhances the aesthetic appeal, ensuring that each piece exudes sophistication.
The innovative craftsmanship in the Classics collection is highlighted by the integration of advanced automatic movements, such as the P-481 calibre, which offers both precision and reliability. This movement features a remarkable power reserve and is visible through the transparent caseback, allowing wearers to appreciate the intricate workings of the watch — a nod to Perrelet's heritage as pioneers in rotor technology since the 18th century.
Noteworthy Iterations
In tribute to its founder, Perrelet sought to create a timepiece that would prominently showcase their crowning achievement: a rotor on the dial side. This collection of timepieces was aptly named the First Class and has since come to symbolise the brand's innovation and artistry. It's worth noting that while the display of the rotor on the dial side is purely ornamental, the actual task of powering the movement is executed by the rotor on the caseback.
Yet another standout model in the Classics collection is the Weekend. This model is designed for versatility, seamlessly transitioning from casual to formal settings. It features a polished stainless steel case and a minimalist dial that highlights elegant hour and minute hands, complemented by refined indices. The inclusion of a date display enhances its practicality, making it suitable for everyday wear.
The Weekend is powered by the same reliable automatic movement found in other models within the Classics collection, ensuring that elegance does not compromise functionality. Available in various dial colours, including classic silver and deep blue, the Weekend perfectly embodies the collection's mission: to offer timepieces that combine aesthetic appeal with innovative engineering.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
The Perrelet calibre P-481 features an impressive automatic movement, pulsing at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a substantial 42-hour power reserve. Its bridges and plates are adorned with a lustrous rhodium plating and a frosted finish, while the double oscillating mass on the dial side is intricately open-worked, rhodium-plated, and decorated with an exquisite Côtes de Genève finish. A striking ruby nestled in the centre of the rotor not only adds a pop of vibrant colour but also serves the practical function of mitigating friction-related wear and tear.
