The Omega De Ville Ladymatic Co-Axial Chronometer is an exquisite example of feminine luxury watchmaking. This sophisticated timepiece features a perfectly proportioned 34mm case crafted in 18K Sedna gold, Omega’s exclusive rose gold alloy, complemented by a striking diamond-set bezel. The mother-of-pearl dial creates a stunning backdrop for the eleven diamond hour markers, their brilliance enhanced by the subtle iridescence of the dial surface. The date window at three o'clock adds functionality without compromising the watch's elegant aesthetic. The signature Ladymatic hands in matching Sedna gold ensure perfect legibility. At its heart beats the Omega Co-Axial calibre 8521, a self-winding movement featuring OMEGA's revolutionary Co-Axial escapement. This COSC-certified chronometer offers exceptional precision and a 50 hours power reserve. The innovative movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. The bracelet combines white ceramic with Sedna gold links, creating a sophisticated two-tone effect that's both beautiful and comfortable. Water-resistant to 100 metres, this Ladymatic perfectly balances technical excellence with feminine elegance, making it ideal for both daily wear and special occasions.

About the Omega De Ville Collection
Originally introduced as part of the Seamaster range, the De Ville name emerged in the 1940s, serving as Omega’s elegant, dressy segment within a sportier lineup. Its name, "De Ville," reflects its association with classic refinement and sophistication. By 1967, Omega established De Ville as an independent collection. The line quickly became known for its blend of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. It has since expanded to include various series such as the Ladymatic, Prestige, and Trésor, each reflecting different facets of classic style and modern innovation. Among its notable models is the Tourbillon, which exemplifies high horological art and engineering.
Designs And Iterations
The Ladymatic, equipped with one of Omega's smallest automatic movements, holds the distinction of being the brand's first automatic watch designed exclusively for women. This series is designed with luxury in mind, with some models featuring a fully diamond-paved bezel for an added touch of opulence. The customisable strap options include luxurious leather or metal bracelets, allowing for a tailored look to complement any style. Additionally, the Ladymatic's intricate and distinctive mother-of-pearl or sun-brushed dials, enhances its visual appeal, making it a timeless piece of fine watchmaking. Meanwhile, the extensive Prestige collection includes various models such as the Prestige Gents, Ladies, Orbis, Butterfly, and Dewdrop. Each watch is characterised by its classic design—round cases, simple dials, and slender lugs—blending a retro aesthetic with modern appeal.
The Trésor series offers a range of models like the 40mm Power Reserve Master Chronometer and a distinctive quartz version, known for its tapering diamond-adorned case. Expanding on the De Ville line, the Tourbillon series showcases exquisite craftsmanship in solid 18k gold or 950 platinum, featuring a central tourbillon display. This intricate mechanism, designed to counteract the effects of gravity, ensures exceptional precision in these timepieces.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
The automatic Omega calibre 8521, introduced in 2010, powers a plethora of women's watches in the brand's repertoire, including Seamaster Aqua Terra, Constellation, and many more models. It offers remarkable accuracy and stability with the presence of the signature co-axial escapement and free-sprung balance wheel with a silicon balance spring. Subsequently, the movement is also resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. While beating at 25,200bph, this calibre provides a power reserve of 50 hours for the smooth functioning of hours, minutes, seconds, and date complications. Watches powered by the 8521 feature a sapphire crystal caseback, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the movement, including the Geneva waves in arabesque and the rose gold oscillating weight and balance bridge.
