The Louis Moinet Moon was launched in 2019 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Jules Verne's "Around the Moon," a novel that ignited the CEO's fascination with lunar exploration. Similarly, the Mars watch reflects this passion for space, featuring a fragment of lunar meteorite housed in a capsule at the three o’clock marker. The key distinction lies in the Mars watch's depiction of legendary volcanoes, including Olympus Mons at the centre and Ascraeus Mons positioned at 1:30.
