About the Hublot Shaped Collection
Launched in 2006, Hublot's Shaped collection was introduced as a bold exploration into unconventional watch forms, breaking away from traditional round cases to embrace geometric and avant-garde designs. The collection was conceived to challenge the norms of watchmaking and showcase Hublot's innovative spirit, expanding the boundaries of luxury timepieces. This collection features two distinctive shapes, tonneau and square forms, each crafted to highlight the brand's creativity and technical prowess.
These timepieces hammer home the brand's Art of Fusion through the use of varied materials, such as ceramic, gold, and rubber. Further, they are frequently adorned with intricate detailing, including skeletonised dials and gem settings. These elements not only enhance the visual appeal but also emphasise the collection's contemporary elegance.
Two standout series within this collection, the Spirit of Big Bang and Square Bang, exemplify Hublot's ability to merge aesthetic daring with technical excellence, making them icons in their own right.
Spirit Of Big Bang
The Spirit of Big Bang is a remarkable evolution of the Big Bang ethos, distinguished by its distinctive tonneau-shaped case. This unique case design is further complemented by a complex skeletonised dial. The architectural elements of the watch create a dynamic, multi-dimensional visual experience. Not only does the Spirit of Big Bang make a statement with its striking appearance, but it also integrates advanced technical features. The series uses materials like titanium and ceramic to reinforce durability.
Square Bang
The Square Bang series is a daring departure from Hublot's traditional round and tonneau forms, marking the brand's first foray into square-shaped cases. This geometric shift gives the Square Bang a distinctly modern and edgy aesthetic. The clean lines and angular form of the case lend the watch a unique character, while its high-quality materials and precise movement underscore Hublot's commitment to technical mastery.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
HUB1120 based on Sellita SW1000-1, is an automatic calibre which powers some watches in the Classic Fusion and Shaped collections. It generates a reserve of 40 hours and beats at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Fuelling a simple three-hand display with date, it adapts well to both the round and tonneau-shaped cases. Lastly, a minimum of 18 jewels are required for the smooth functioning of the components.
