Gerald Charles Genta secured a reputation as one of the most significant watch designers of the 20th century with his unique approach to design and transcendent vision. And it is this spirit that forms the core DNA of the Maestro collection from his eponymous brand. Aptly named after Genta, who was often referred to as a maestro, the collection gravitates around a refreshing case design, much like Genta's most iconic creations. In addition, it brings avant-garde technology and ergonomic elements, details that ring true to the brand's ethos of ‘artistic creativity, technical mastery'.

The Maestro Case

The lodestone of this line is the Maestro case, one of the last designs by Genta, introduced in 2006. The off-piste shape of the case is a coalesced square and octagon with a smile at six o'clock, crafted from more than 15 components and featuring a double bezel. Now a celebrated signature of the brand, the Maestro case draws inspiration from the 17th-century architecture of the renowned architect Francesco Borromini. Each timepiece within the collection uses this sinuous case as a cardinal element upon which iterations are based.

The Collection

The Gerald Charles Maestro collection comprises an eclectic range of elegant sports watches, each with a strong identity and traditional wit. While 2.0 Ultra Thin, 3.0 Chronograph, and GC Sport are more conventional models within the large Meastro family, the 8.0 Squelette and 9.0 Tourbillon spearhead the haute horlogerie spectrum of the brand. From the unique shape of the pushers in 3.0 Chronograph watches to the positioning of the crown on the left side of the case in GC Sport timepieces, attention to detail runs point in each Maestro watch. Also, to further foster the spirit of craftsmanship and excellence, the collection includes limited edition gem-set versions of Squelette and Tourbillon models. In 2024, the brand released a stunning collaborative watch called Maestro 4.0 Ducati 30° Anniversario 916, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Ducati 916.
