The BVLGARI Octo Finissimo Skeleton, reference 102714, is a stunning showcase of craftsmanship and innovation. This watch introduces a lightweight titanium case, offering an ergonomic twist on a classic. It exemplifies the iconic Octo Finissimo thin profile with its elegantly ultra-slim form. Its intricate skeletonised movement highlights the maison’s mastery in crafting exceptionally thin yet powerful timepieces. The BVL 128SK calibre ensures a 65-hour power reserve, making this a practical choice as well as a statement piece. The Octo Finissimo Skeleton’s design is characterised by its open-worked dial, which displays the watch’s complex mechanics in a visually striking manner. The movement components complement the silver-toned hands, while the dial further features a power reserve indicator and a small seconds counter at nine. The watch’s transparent caseback reveals the exquisitely finished movement, with finely bevelled angles and a circular-grained surface, providing a glimpse into the precision craftsmanship that defines BVLGARI.

About the BVLGARI Octo Collection
BVLGARI solidified their presence as serious watchmakers in the world of horology with their technical genius, channelled remarkably through Octo. The first-ever Octo was created in collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Gerald Genta, resulting in the BVLGARI Gerald Genta Octo Grande Sonnerie Tourbillon, launched in 2010. By 2012, BVLGARI decided to build an entire collection around this timepiece, bringing the best BVLGARI watches for men and women. However, it was in 2014 that the Octo achieved its legendary status with the introduction of the Octo Finissimo. Since then, the BVLGARI Octo collection has broken multiple world records and remains one of the most sought-after luxury sports watch collections on the market. Needless to say, the collection sits at the fore of the brand's watch portfolio.
The Legendary Iterations
Finissimo in Italian roughly translates to ‘Superfine'. These superfine BVLGARI watches exude superbly finished timepieces with sand-blasted cases and various complications. The Octo Finnisimo became the world's thinnest watch in the very first year of its launch. This marked the beginning of an ultra-thin set of timepieces that made the brand a centre of attraction in the world of haute horlogerie. Now, the Octo Finissimo has much more to offer other than being an ultra-thin luxury sports watch. The collection does not falter with complications as Octo Finissimo is also one of the first timepieces to incorporate both a chronograph and a GMT inside an ultra-thin timepiece.
Launched in 2017, Octo Roma, was a more approachable attempt made by BVLGARI. Differentiated by a rounder silhouette compared to the octagonal proportions of the Octo Finissimo, the Roma watches represent a much more affordable option within the Octo collection. But despite the accessibility, the Octo Roma does not compromise on complications, offering a slew of features that make any watch enthusiast's heart beat faster.
