About the Bremont Altitude Collection
A Bremont collection that resonates most with the brand's heritage is Altitude. It is an impressive line-up of performance-driven aviation watches that not only encapsulate the co-founders' love of flying but also brilliantly express the brand's proficiency in creating timepieces that deliver under any circumstances. Since its inception, the Altitude collection has been a playground for meaningful partnerships, discerning homages to iconic air vehicles and reimagining the classic pilot's watch. These watches are distinguished by the brand's signature Trip-Tick® cases rendered in robust materials and come equipped with neatly executed dials. The iconic Martin-Baker, ALT1, U2, and the Altitude Solo, housing aviation-inspired watches in humble sizes and delicate designs catering to women, are distinct sub-series under Altitude's umbrella.
Bremont Altitude – An Elegant And Ergonomic Watch Collection
Not only Altitude's but perhaps the most iconic Bremont watches are from the Martin-Baker series. It includes the highly exclusive MBI available only to pilots who have used the Martin-Baker ejection seats along with MBII and MBIII, the civilian versions of MBI. These watches embody the strength and endurance of the MB ejection seats while boasting a contemporary appeal. Another Bremont watch initially created exclusively for a military outfit is the U-2, developed in 2010 for pilots of the U-2 spy plane. Apart from being subjected to similar tests as the MB, the Bremont U-2 watches were also tested at 80,000 feet in an unpressurised cockpit, bringing ultimate strength and precision to the wrist.
The Bremont Altitude collection further includes gorgeous chronograph watches within the ALT1 series. While inspired by aviation history and iconic airplanes like the Spitfire, the ALT1 timepieces carry a dressy appeal, striking a perfect balance of form and function. This series is home to Bremont's stealthiest timepiece—the ALT1-P2 JET and a handsome-looking worldtimer.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
Many Bremont day-date watches across collections use the self-winding calibre BE-36AE, which is a modified version of the Swiss ETA 2836. Consequently, it beats at a rate of 4Hz, is composed of 25 jewels, and provides a power reserve of 38 hours. Interestingly, Bremont also use this movement to power a few time-and-date watches by dexterously removing the day of the week ring. This modification alters a few specifications for the movement, like jewels, while maintaining overall accuracy and precision. The movement is visible through the caseback of a few watches, flaunting its fine finishes, including perlage, blued screws and a custom rotor.
