History
One of the oldest watchmakers in the world carries a little bit of legacy to this day. This legacy comes in the form of the Tissot T-Pocket collection. The first pocket watch produced by Tissot was in 1853 and since then it has mass-produced both pocket and wristwatches. Pioneering the passion of watchmaking with intricately designed watches and their movements, Tissot has been awarded several times for its finesse.
Design
Carrying the classical design of a pocket watch, Tissot has incorporated similar design ideas such as the Roman numerals cathedral hands but this has been absent in some of the modern iterations offered by the brand. Many watches still carry forward the tradition of fitting their pocket watches with hunter cases. There are few watches that are gracefully engraved and offer a rather Edwardian take on the era of pocket watches.
Features
Firing the engine of uniqueness, the Savonette series fits the crown on the 3 o'clock marker. Bringing a sense of elegance and heritage, the Pendants series features a pocket watch that can also be worn around the neck. Apart from the neck-laden watch, the series also features the Infirmiers. Made for medical professionals, the Infirmiers features an upside-down dial configuration. Series such as Savonette, Bridgeport, and Pocket features a hunter case which is particularly absent in series such as Stand Alone, Lepine, and Replica.
