Movado

Movado was founded in 1881 by 19-year old entrepreneur Achille Ditesheim in the village of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Since then, Movado has achieved a legacy of design innovation in time technology.

Always in motion
Movado, meaning "always in motion" has proved to be a prophetic name for a company committed to design, innovation and time technology. With many patents for breakthrough ideas, over 200 international awards for creativity, watches in 20 museums worldwide, Movado has made some of the most famous timepieces ever created. Movados dedication to fine watch making is as strong today, as it was back in 1881. Determined to develop timepieces that would surpass all, Movado has redefined the art of watchmaking.
